What the numbers say

• If you need a default length to study, start with 30–60 min. Views for a typical channel are 5,487 there, and 3,556 in 8–15 min, the lowest range.
• Do not switch to 3–8 min just because the per-video number is 10,209. A few channels with many of those videos pull that figure up. A typical channel in that range sits at 3,960.
• Keep sleep and music long. Sleep runs about 1 hr 58 min, and Music runs about 3 hr 44 min. That length is the format, not a trick that will raise views in a different niche.
• Where a niche shows more than one length, the higher views for a typical channel are most often in 30–60 min (3 of 5). Use that before you invent a new runtime.
• Treat a small group as a hint. Mafia Boss videos in 60+ min show 10,586 views for a typical channel, from only 10 channels. That is the smallest group this page will show.

Views by length, whole public sample

Every public channel with a qualifying video is in this table, including catch-all labels, tool labels, and niches too small to rank. The same filters as the faceless niches page apply: longer than 180 seconds, published from October 10, 2025 through October 10, 2026, and at least 1,000 views. 23,521 videos from 391 channels qualify.

A range includes its upper bound. 8:00 is in 3–8 min. 60:00 is in 30–60 min. 60+ min starts after 60:00.

The same cut, by niche

A range is shown only when at least 10 channels in that niche have a qualifying video in it. A dash is below that line. Order matches the niches page.

These ranked niches have no length range with 10 channels, so they are not in the table: Animal & Pet Stories, HOA & Neighborhood Drama, Emotional, Veterans.

Mixed / General Storytelling mixes formats, so it is not a row in the niche table. It has 27 channels and 1,112 qualifying videos. Published ranges: 30–60 min 2,549 (15 channels, 76 videos); 60+ min 3,095 (14 channels, 972 videos).

Vidrush is a tool-based label, not a topic, so it is not a row in the niche table. Its 747 videos from 10 channels stay in the overall totals.

Methodology and caveats

Same snapshot and same video rules as the niches page. Of 133,501 videos on the public channel files, 17,753 failed the duration rule, 69,868 fell outside the 365-day window, and 22,359 had fewer than 1,000 views. 23,521 remained. 817 of 844 curated channels are labeled English. A few sensitive or adult-content labels (85 channels) never enter the sample.

Views for a typical channel are a channel-balanced median: the median inside each channel, then the median across channels. A channel with hundreds of uploads counts once. The per-video figure pools every qualifying video, which is why a few channels that post many short videos can lift the 3–8 min per-video number above the figure for a typical channel. A number is published only when at least 10 channels contribute. The overall table can still show a range when no single niche has that many channels in it, because the channels are spread across labels.

Nothing here is an experiment. Length was not assigned. Sleep and music run long because that is the format. Moving a different niche into that range is not something this table can recommend. Subscriber growth is not measured. Earnings and RPM are not in the snapshot. This page does not say which length pays more.
